The gift of mcdonald’s

‘The Gift of McDonald’s’, a fully integrated campaign celebrating those moments when, sometimes, we all need a break from the Christmas chaos…at McDonald’s.

As part of the social activation we gave our hero gift tag some legs (quite literally) and it run away, leaking some super secret gift codes! 👀🤳🏷️🎁🏃‍♂️

WORK:

I came up with the idea, designed the costume, sourced costume production company, directed, filmed and edited the content.

DELIVERABLES:

Life-sized human gift tag on the run, prompting passerby to capture the code and enter in-app for some tasty rewards.

Not a stunt, but social-first activation amplified on organic social, harnessing the real-life engagement, as well as the online one. We utilised storytelling, curiosity, incentivising the viewer to keep watching, and take action of entering the code in app.
